About me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Southern University of Science and Technology.
I obtained my PhD degree in computer science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University under the supervision of Prof. Shuai Li. I received the CCF Doctoral Dissertation Award in Agent and Multi-Agent Systems in 2025 (as the sole national recipient) and the Baidu Scholarship in 2023 (one of only 10 recipients worldwide). I obtained my bachelor's degree in software engineering from Shandong University (1/318). During my PhD, I worked as a research intern at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tencent Wechat, Microsoft Research Asia, and Alibaba Damo Academy.
I am broadly interested in developing theoretically guaranteed algorithms for sequential decision-making problems, with a particular focus on multi-armed bandits and reinforcement learning, as well as their applications in online experimentation and recommendation systems.
